Kasper De Vos
Belgium, b. 1988
Kasper De Vos (b. 1988, BE) lives and works in Ghent, Belgium. He studied sculpture in Antwerp and Ghent (2009–2012) and completed a postgraduate program at the HISK in Ghent. His sculptures and installations arise from a tactile and visual pleasure, a play of formal and conceptual associations that invite wonder and dreaming.
He has exhibited his work at Pizza Gallery in Antwerp, Plus One Gallery in Antwerp and Rodolphe Janssens Gallery in Brussels, De Brakke Grond in Amsterdam, and M HKA in Antwerp. He has participated in various group exhibitions, such as “How to Live Together” at Kunsthalle Vienna, “Prelude: Melancholy for the Future” at Museum Dhondt-Dhaenens, and the Udden Sculpture Festival in Bohuslän, Sweden.
His work is included in several private and public collections, including M HKA, MuZee, the Roger Raveel Museum, and the Middelheim Sculpture Garden in Antwerp, where his work is permanently on display.
