OPEN CALL

“Fire Walk With Me”
with MEER MEER & Pizza Gallery
Looking for a place to work, exchange ideas, and be inspired by a natural environment this summer?
We invite you to take part in the Artist Run Summer School.
This year, fire is our central motif and metaphor. We gather around flames, as people always have. Fire creates space through transformation — it destroys, but it also makes things possible.
At Meer Meer, we support artistic practices in which social action — conversation, collaboration, activism — becomes part of the work itself. This approach shifts the role of the artist from maker to facilitator, and the focus from object to process.
Participants are invited to engage with the theme in their own way: concretely or poetically, through action, material, or concept.
